Biography

Welcome to Patricia Choquette's Portfolio! As an artist, I am inspired by the French and Spanish impressionists and modern masters. I strive to evoke a sense of inner peace, hope and joy through my art. Each stroke of the brush is an expression of my passion for color and form. My portfolio is a collection of moments in time in plein air painting of quaint local scenes or from my travels to captivating places and towns. My landscapes are often described as being atmospheric, as if you're in the scene.

I work in various media from oils to acrylics and mixed media collage and enjoy painting various subjects from vivid landscapes to still life work and portraits.

 

My work may be found in private collections locally and nationally, and in annual exhibits throughout the DMV area galleries, and Art festivals.  Every painting is a reflection of my journey through the arts. Join me on this artistic voyage and let the colors speak to your heart.
